A good verbal IQ will bring you one step closer to your career success. What are those components of a high verbal IQ? They are the ability to listen well, to understand well, to deliver the right messages to different receiving parties and to generate desired response afterwards. It also includes the ability to keep the cool and affirm your stance in difficult situations.

This course will put more emphasis on your articulation and precise choice of words in various settings. We will start to cover in details different ways to describe a person’s manners and styles and characteristics of various objects. We will then focus on a select long list of powerful words and study the variations in their connotations and usages.

As we live in a challenging world, we constantly need to face up to some difficult people and difficult situations. We will conduct some group exercises on how to best deal with those unpleasant close encounters by polishing our verbal exchanges. Precise choice of words, phrases and expressions can deliver different level of respect, confidence and expectations.

We hope after this course you will become more prepared and assured to successfully and tactfully handle various unexpected situations by knowing what to say and how to say it.
